Reports with purpose

I am passionate about helping purpose-driven organisations tell their stories. Content production can be an important tool in reaching their audiences and sharing successes. As well as creating impactful brands I also have vast experience in creating great, value-for-money reports for non-profits which are perfect for their audiences.

How it works

  • You supply raw text, images, tables, footnotes - all the content which makes your report what it is!

Let me know any format requirements, information about the audience and distribution - this is done by completing a simple form.

In terms of deciding what your report will look like you can either choose to have 3 bespoke creative concepts produced in order to identify which direction would be perfect for the project.

Alternatively if you have an established document style, or wish to choose one of our pre-existing template styles you can go straight to stage 2.

  • This is when the document is laid out.

This will be as an accessible pdf (meeting industry best prctice standards including features such as paragraph styles, tagged headings, alt text, and hyperlinks) but which will also be produced with print in mind - with professional reprographics understanding, image retouching and colour management.

  • You receive a proof of the document which you can review, and let us know any amendments necessary.

Group any amends together and these will count as a “round of amends” this round can involve multiple changes on every page - we keep the rate the same so that you can keep track of costs.

If you are happy with the design and want to avoid the back and forth with any changes to text then we can hand over the document at this stage and the document can be easily edited using Adobe Acrobat Pro or PDF Expert (these are paid-for programmes).

Quite simply our clients have told me that this is the easiest way for them to budget and plan for projects.

They know exactly how much a project will be before starting and can see where their money is spent. My clients have had experience of paying graphic designers by the hour in the past and found that doesn’t help them plan budgets and also, frustratingly, rewards designers for working slowly! I also have a fixed rate per rounds of amends - again this simplified structure is to help the organisations we work with to keep costs down.
